When I used to have office jobs this idea hunted me so much. Even though Mochi never stayed home alone I was very sad to think he didn’t understand why I spend so many hours away…I am very happy to work from home now, but he still puts up a little number every time I leave the apartment. I guess this is what he thinks I am doing while I am out.

Cuando trabajaba fuera de casa, aunque Mochi nunca se quedaba solo, me daba mucha pena pensar que él no entendía por que tenía que pasar tanto tiempo fuera de casa. Estoy muy contenta de trabajar desde casa ahora, aunque Mochi me monta un numerito igualmente cada vez que salgo…supongo que esto es lo que él cree que estoy haciendo…

Little secret ✨: I have been wanting to turn my cartoons into a book for a long time. I want it to be a recopilation of some of the best cartoons I’ve made + some new cartoons that will just exist in the book + second parts of existing cartoons.
The cartoon I just posted today has a second part that is living in a drawer and hopefully will be a part of the book some day, and I’ve done that with several of the cartoons I’ve made in the past 😊.
Many of you had asked me about the book, and it is not happening just yet, but hopefully soon…and it will be awesome! 😉

Mini secreto ✨: Hace tiempo que quiero convertir mis dibujos en un libro. Quiero que sea una recopilación de las mejores viñetas + viñetas nuevas que sólo existirán en el libro + segundas partes de viñetas existentes.
La viñeta de hoy tiene una segunda parte que de momento vivirá en un cajón y espero que un día forme parte del libro. He estado haciendo lo mismo con muchas de las viñetas que he ido colgando 😊.
Muchos de vosotros me habéis pedido el libro y quería decir que de momento no está pasando pero espero que pronto sí…y la espera habrá valido la pena! 😉
I am so lucky that the great @saigonfilms 😍make a video of the graffiti I made of wrapped Mochi (you can see more of my art at @gemma_gene).
I made this mural in protest to treating animals like objects. Funny story, I did actually wrap Mochi (exept the head) and he loved it 🙄 he kept falling asleep and that is why he appears seating and not standing.
This was a collaboration with the awesome Xavier Camps who teached me how to spray paint ❤️

Tengo mucha suerte de que @saigonfilms 😍hiciese un video del graffiti de Mochi envuelto (podéis ver mi trabajo artístico en @gemma_gene).
Hice este mural en protesta contra tratar animales como objectos. Una anecdota, realmente envolví a Mochi (menos la cabeza) y le encantó 🙄. Se iba durmiendo todo el rato y por eso sale sentado y no de pie 😂.
El otro artista es el genial Xavier Camps, que me enseñó a utilizar el spray.

Every time Mochi stays at my parents I tell them that he is used to a certain level of attention and that it is important that they pet him and kiss him all the time. Luckily for Mochi, it is very hard to say no to him.

M: también te animo a darme besitos.
Cada vez que Mochi se queda en casa de mis padres les digo que Mochi está acostumbrado a un cierto nivel de atención y que tienen que mimarlo y darle besitos todo el rato. Por suerte para Mochi es muy difícil decirle que no.
