Feliç Sant Jordi!
Feliç dia de #santjordi!!! 🐉🌹📚. Happy name day to all Jordis, Gines, Gorgines, Jorges and Georges! Specially Peli, who’s real name is Jordi.
Today is by far my favorite day of the year! On April 23rd in Catalonia we celebrate the legend of Sant Jordi:
Once upon a time there was a village hunted by a dragon. The dragon would eat everything. To prevent the dragon from killing everyone at once, the king decided to start a lottery to choose who’s animal would be given to the dragon. When all the animals where over, the lottery started to be of humans. The first person to be selected was the princess.
All the village was very upset, specially the king and the princess herself. They took the princess to the dragon and when she was about to be eaten, Sant Jordi came and fought the dragon. The dragon’s blood turned into roses, he gave one rose to the princess and she gave him a book. From that day on, in Catalonia we give roses and books to the loved ones on Sant Jordi’s day

Hoy es mi día favorito del año con diferencia! El 23 de abril en Cataluña celebramos la leyenda de San Jordi:
Había una vez un pueblo aterrorizado por un dragón. El dragón se lo comía todo. El rey decidió hacer una lotería para decidir los animales de quién serian comidos por el dragón. Llegó el día en que se acabaron los animales y la lotería empezó a ser sobre personas. La primera persona en ser elegida fue la princesa. Todo el pueblo estaba muy preocupado, especialmente el rey y la princesa. Llevaron a la princesa al dragón y justo cuando iba a ser devorada llegó San Jordi y luchó contra el dragón. La sangre del dragón se convirtió en rosas. San Jordi le regaló una rosa a la princesa y ella le regaló un libro. A partir de ese día, en Cataluña, el día de San Jordi reglamos rosas y libros a nuestros seres queridos.

The shortest distance between two points is a straight line and Mochi knows it very well! The other day I had two people coming over my studio to see my work and Mochi walk all over them, literally…Thankfully they were a good sport.
